Milestone

This morning is the first time I saw Coco urinate on his own. Although we saw his bedding wet the day before. I thought maybe the bottled hot water I put inside his makeship bed was the culprit.
Now, I know he really is 1 month old (4 weeks) - a "fact" I learned from reading about caring for orphaned kitten. I think his cat mom is still alive though and maybe looking for him and his sister (who died 2 days after I found them). He's orphaned because some human (are you even?!!) decided to just leave them in the rain. 😠

Going back, he is growing and I think I need to introduce him to solids.

First meeting

Met Coco on Sept 3, 2019 just after the rain. He fell from the styro box where he and his sister were put and left in the rain. I would have walked past them if not for Coco's insistent meowing. His sister did not make it though. 😢😢😢

10 days after

Today marks the 10th day since I found Coco.  One of the changes I noticed is that he is now quieter. He meows in a most demure way now. Before, he cries as if his life depended on it. Today, he held his bottle. 😄💝 He is growing up fast. I hope to find him a forever home as soon as he turns 2 months. When is that? I guess in a months time. Probably by October 3, 2019.  Oh, my heart aches just the thought of it. But I need to let go.
